Description
This project is especially meaningful to the Concord team, as it supports the health, safety, and future of animals in our community.
The new development adds 18 additional kennels, thoughtfully designed to improve shelter operations and animal well-being, including:
14 kennels for adoptable dogs, increasing opportunities for placement
4 dedicated quarantine kennels, allowing staff to better separate sick or behaviorally sensitive dogs from the general population
These improvements help reduce stress, improve health outcomes, and support more effective care and management for each animal.
The shelter consistently operates at or near capacity and is always looking for loving adopters ready to give a dog a forever home.
