Concord Surprises Teachers Across Arizona
This Teacher Appreciation Week, Concord set out to celebrate the people who help shape Arizona’s future every single day: teachers.
To kick things off, Concord sent a survey to school districts throughout Arizona asking teachers one simple question: What does being a teacher mean to you? The response was incredible. More than 1,000 teachers shared heartfelt, funny, inspiring, and deeply meaningful reflections about the work they do and the students they serve.
From those 1,000+ responses, 16 teachers across Arizona were selected for answers that especially stood out. Then came the fun part: surprise classroom visits!
Concord team members showed up with balloons, gifts, and a giant surprise — a $500 gift card for each selected teacher to spend on their classroom, plus an additional $100 gift card just for them. From shocked smiles to happy tears, each visit was a reminder of just how much heart teachers pour into their work.
But we didn’t stop there. Concord also delivered 64 snack baskets to staff breakrooms across Arizona, helping stock them with treats for hardworking teachers and school staff to enjoy throughout the week. Several schools were also surprised with donuts, lunches, and other goodies as a small way to say thank you.
