Concord General Contracting Coordinates Food Drive for the H.A.V.E.N. Center’s Food 4 Kidz Program
This summer, Concord is hosting a food drive benefiting the H.A.V.E.N. Center’s Food 4 Kidz program, which supports children and families throughout the Lake Havasu City area.
What began as an invitation to donate quickly grew through the generosity of the community. Residents shared our flyers with local businesses, organizations spread the word, and donations started pouring into our office. Hav-A-Sis and ECHO Group Band of Brothers Arizona were among the local groups that helped collect and deliver food for the drive.
“People in this amazing community just saw our flyers and started passing them out to their local businesses,” said Jennifer Bernardi, Concord’s Community & Client Outreach Manager. “This community really rallies together to help everyone.”
Once the drive is complete, Concord employee owners will help organize and package the donated items for the H.A.V.E.N. Center. Requested donations include nonperishable, kid-friendly foods such as oatmeal, dry cereal, fruit cups, macaroni and cheese, packaged juice, applesauce and pudding.
“The generosity shown throughout this food drive reflects what makes the Lake Havasu community so special,” said Grenee Martacho, CEO of Concord General Contracting, “We are proud to join our neighbors in supporting the H.A.V.E.N. Center and helping provide food and resources to local children and families.”
