Concord Hosts West-MEC Students in the office and on the jobsite
We recently welcomed 36 students and 2 teachers from West-MEC to our Mesa office for a behind-the-scenes look at how our teams bring projects to life. The group, made up of juniors and seniors enrolled in the two-year general construction program, spent the morning learning about the many career paths within construction—from preconstruction and project management to field operations and business development.
After the office tour, the group headed out to the Sun Valley Community Church jobsite in Chandler, where they got to see construction in action. The visit included a hands-on presentation from our team, giving students a closer look at day-to-day operations in the field, along with a construction-themed game that added a fun, interactive element to the experience.
It was a great opportunity to connect with the next generation of builders and share what a future in construction can look like.
“Thank you so much for hosting our students and for such a meaningful and engaging experience. The feedback we received from students was phenomenal—they truly appreciated the time, insight, and genuine care your team shared throughout the day. We are all incredibly grateful for the opportunity and for your hospitality. It means a great deal to our program and to our students to be welcomed so warmly and treated as valued future professionals.”
