PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Roadrunner School project will be a combination of new construction and renovation of existing space. As an unoccupied site, this project will have complete access for demolition and construction. Demolition of the east buildings including the classrooms and administration will make space for the new construction. The new construction will include a new administration and classrooms for the k-8 students. The northwest classroom building will remain and be fully renovated to suit the 9-12 students. The multipurpose building will remain as well and requires full modernization and some functional renovation. Site upgrades will include a revised parking and bus drop off lane, upgraded fire lanes and improved commons areas. The adjacent ways funding is anticipated to include the fire lanes, city utilities connections and street perimeter sidewalk upgrades as required – we currently estimate this value at approximately $350,000, to be confirmed as design and detailed drawings progress.
