Concord General Contracting employee owners held another Construction Day at Vail Academy and High School. Located at 7762 E. Science Park Drive in Tucson, AZ, Concord employees split the morning into an assembly and site tour for older students and later conducted stations where K-5 students could learn about construction tools. Working with teachers in Arizona to educate children about careers within construction is something that Concord employees have done for decades.

Contractors in the Classroom was temporarily put on pause due to COVID restrictions. Now, Concord employees are looking forward to continuing the initiative. “Contractors in the classroom is a huge part of Concord’s mission. By teaching kids about construction, we can help inspire more people to join the field,” says CEO, Grenee Martacho.

Concord General Contracting began work on the expansion of the Vail Academy and High School last year. The project is estimated to be completed by July 2022.
